Rustic Cabin

I will never stay at this cabin again. Positive: Hot tub Negative: Location. The road to get to the cabin is very curvy and hard to navigate especially at night which is when we arrived. My husband had to literally get out of the car and use a flashlight to help guide me over some of the hills of the driveway and around some curves. When I contacted the owner of the cabin, he then informed me that one way was more curvy than the other. This is information that would have been useful prior to going to the destination, we never found another way to get to the cabin nor were alternate directions ever offer offered the beds as previously reported were very hard and uncomfortable when we arrived the living room window that had a screen was open. The TV was still logged in from the previous users. The water did not get hot enough for a hot shower. The batteries in the remote was missing. There were no paper towels and the cleaning closet was not organized when we arrived after we had to check the entire house because we were afraid that someone or something could’ve been in it because the window was open. I contacted the owner and told him that we were not staying another night there because we did not feel safe and I asked about a refund and he told me that I had to contact Booking.com who told me there were no refunds. I am very dissatisfied. I will never stay at a cabin again in Tennessee anywhere using Booking.com we ended up getting a hotel room in downtown and basically wasted almost $1000 on a cabin.

Michael was a great host he answered questions quickly, My check in was easy and it was very clean

Positive: The cabin is lovely. Area is lovely. Negative: Toilet seat was broken , actually hanging off, contacted owner , didn't acknowledge only answered a totally unrelated question. Should be told what coffee maker is in kitchen ...instead had to go bk down mountain to stores to get coffee. Not even one cup of coffee as a gesture. After driving hours a coffee would be nice. Only half roll of kitchen towel ...no dishtowels at all. One trash bag . Blinds on all windows didn't work . Charged a pet fee ...we didn't have ANY pet. ???? Bloody band aid left on floor ...so can't of been great cleaner staff.... We left it cleaner than we got it... We washed all linen before leaving.... Not even a thank you. At that price we have stayed in better places. Would we return ....no. If items above had been ok ,yes.

Positive: Everything was beyond our expectations! Beautiful little cabin with stunning views! The beds were so comfortable! Even our 2 cats loved it!
